The Evolve Acro Workshop is open to children and young people aged 5–16 years old.

Who is the workshop for?

The workshop is open to both current Evolve Academy students and non-Evolve students aged 5–16 who are interested in developing their Acro skills.

Does my child need previous Acro experience?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily! The workshop will include a range of skills and progressions, allowing students to work at a level appropriate to their experience and ability.

What will the workshop include?

Students will take part in Acro & tricks, block work, AirTrack, conditioning, flexibility and mobility work, as well as a range of challenges and progressions.

Can my child get the Evolve Student price if they don't currently attend Evolve Academy?

Yes! If your child joins Evolve Academy by 15th October, they will be eligible to book the Acro Workshop at the £18 Evolve Student price.

What should my child wear?

Accepted Answer

Children should wear comfortable, fitted clothing suitable for movement. Please avoid clothing with zips, buckles or anything that could be uncomfortable or unsafe during Acro activities.

Does my child need to bring anything?

Please bring a named water bottle. Any additional equipment required for the workshop will be provided by Evolve Academy.

Will there be a break?

The workshop is two hours long and will include appropriate opportunities for students to rest and have a drink throughout the session.

Are spaces limited?

Yes. Places are limited, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Can parents stay and watch?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, parents and guardians cannot stay and watch the workshop. Tanners Wood Hall does not have a suitable waiting area for parents, so we ask that children are dropped off and collected promptly at the end of the session.

What happens if my child is unable to attend after booking?

We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop may be eligible for a refund, subject to our workshop terms and conditions.Bookings cancelled within 7 days of the workshop are non-refundable, as spaces, staffing and venue arrangements will have already been confirmed.If Evolve Academy has to cancel the workshop, parents/guardians will be offered a full refund.

Is parking available?

Yes! Free parking is available at Tanners Wood Hall for parents and guardians dropping off and collecting their children.
